"1 in 10 women are forced to choose between food and hygiene."
This is period poverty. This is why we exist.
Our Mission
Every woman deserves dignity. Period.
Her Light is a student-led women's health initiative founded in Milan, Italy, dedicated to promoting menstrual health awareness, combating period poverty, and reducing menstrual stigma across communities.
We believe that access to menstrual products, education, and healthcare should be a basic right, not a privilege. Through fundraising events, community outreach, and educational content, we work to ensure every woman has the resources she needs.
